P.D.E.A.'s College of Engineering, Manjari(Bk) was established by Pune District Education Association in the year 1998 with a vision to spread engineering knowledge in the rural area.And achieved the status of center for excellence within short span of time. Since the college pledges to impart excellent education and training to students, there is a perpetual attempt to attain a higher level of quality. Besides having a highly qualified faculty with rich academic and industrial experience, the college has well designed building, library with internet facility and a playground.

The experienced and student oriented faculty is the backbone of our institute. Many of them have attended national and international level conferences for presentation regarding their research work. In all they have published more than 35 research articles and 10 text/reference books.

Besides regular seminars, workshops and allied academic schedule, the college invites guest lecturers from industry and health care services, to share their views and experiences with the students


Library Resources

Central Library

Central Library established in the year 1998, is an invaluable resource for students, researchers and faculties of management and engineering. The college library is well equipped with large number of textbook, reference books, periodicals, journals and newspapers. The library is automated with eth Library Software to ease its clientele at various levels while in the library.

There are seven sections in the library including Stack, Circulation, Reference, Reading Hall, Periodical, Digital with Reprography and News paper section.

Free E-Journals

NPTEL: provides E-learning through online web and video courses in Engineering, Science and Humanities streams. The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) was initiated by seven Indian Institute of Technology's (Mumbai, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Guwahati, and Roorkee) along with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2003. Five core disciplines were identified, namely, civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and telecommunication engineering, mechanical engineering and 235 courses in web/video format were developed in this phase.

Library Rules and Regulations

1. Entire library is primarily intended for the student and staff of the college.

2. Personal belonging are not allowed inside the library.

3. Eatables are not allowed inside the library and reading room.

4. Students are not permitted to sit in the library during the lectures anr practical hours.

5. College I card is compusory in the Library and Reading Hall and should be produced on demand.

6. Two library cards will enable the students to borrow two books at a time and he/she will be responsible for the books borrowed on his/her card.

7. Books will issue only on production of library card.

8. Books will issue for 15 days and reissued/renewed if there is no reservation. Only 2 consecuttive renewal are permitted.

9. If a student fail to return books on return date, he/she will be liable for fine @ Rs. 2/- per day per book.

10. Reference books and Current issues of journal/ magazines will be not be issued to student for taking outside the library. However, back issues of certain journal/magazines will for two days.

11. If book is lost by borrower or damaged, new copy of same book will be recovered.

12. Loss of library card should be intimated to the librarian immediately in written by mentioning their card details. Duplicate card will issue at a cost of Rs. 25/- after verification.

13. Maintain silence in the Library.

Sports Details

The college provides floor to students for promoting their talents in sports. Various sports events & items during the academic year organized and supervised by Director of sports of our college. The gymkhana game provides following game facilities to the students:

1. Out-door games:

College has one volleyball court, football, cricket, kabaddi, kho-kho & softball.

2. In-door games:

College have own gymnasium of around 1000 sq. feet. It also has Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, Weight lifting facilities and badminton facilities. College students participate in various intercollegiate tournaments under Pune University. Such tournaments as Zeast-COEP, MIT-Summit, Trinity-Zeal, etc. WE have also participated in Pune District Cricket Associations Kaware Karandak and Damodar Karandak.

The total budget of Gymkhana Dept. is about 8 Lacks, where all consumable goods were purchased per year. The costing of that material is near about 3.77 lacks. The Gymnasium Equipment is near 1.27 lacks.

Our College has been arranging various In-doors & Out-door games on the basis of interclass & inter dept participation.
