About Pune District Education Association (PDEA), Pune
Pune District Education Association (PDEA), the parent body of the college, was established on 7 September 1941 as a charitable institution with the motto “Bahujan Hitay, Bahujan Sukhay” (Welfare and Happiness for the Masses).
Founded by the great social reformer Late Shri Baburaoji Golap, PDEA rapidly expanded educational access by establishing more than 350 primary schools across Pune district, particularly in rural and underserved areas.

For its outstanding contribution to education and social service, PDEA has been honored with the Rajyagourav Puraskar by the Government of Maharashtra.
PDEA continues its mission under the visionary leadership of Hon. Shri Ajitdada Pawar, President of PDEA and Former Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Maharashtra.
Today, more than 1,00,000+ students are enrolled across various institutions under PDEA.
